HUIPIL: LIGHT BROWN
One-size hand-woven huipil. The same fabric on both sides. El huipil is an embroidered blouse known for its fascinating patterns and vibrant colors, worn by indigenous women in Mexico and Central America. Hand-woven on back strap looms using timeless techniques transmitted for generations, this wonderful Huipil is characterised by carrying traditional designs of its weavers. Ernestina and her sisters who belong to an ethnic group that descends from the Mayan, created this piece in a region on the road to Los Altos de Chiapas, known as Batsitetic, Chiapas, Mexico.
Very soft to the touch due to the cotton with which it was woven, which is light, durable and resistant. The design and balance of sharp and matte colors give you a comfortable and very unique piece of clothing.
